There are some things that are just exquisitely and resolutely British.  Gin and Tea for example.  Ok, so we didn't invent tea, but we're giving the Chinese a run for their money in the consumption stakes.  And when I say Tea I mean proper tea - Black tea.  Anything else is just dried dishwater nicely packaged.
